How long does shipping take for heavy sauna units?
Standard shipping for our sauna units typically takes 7-14 business days. Due to the size and weight, these items are shipped via freight with lift-gate service to ensure safe delivery to your home.
What are the electrical requirements for a home steam shower?
Most of our steam generators require a dedicated 220-240V circuit and a GFCI breaker. We strongly recommend consulting a licensed electrician to ensure your home's wiring meets the specific amperage requirements of your chosen model.
Do you offer a warranty on your products?
Yes, all products at Steam Sauna Depot come with a manufacturer's warranty. While terms vary by brand, most steam generators and sauna heaters include a limited lifetime warranty on heating elements and a 1-5 year warranty on parts.
What is your return policy for installed equipment?
We accept returns on unused, uninstalled items in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery. Please note that once a sauna or steam unit has been installed or hardwired, it is no longer eligible for return due to safety and liability regulations.
Can I install a steam generator in an existing shower?
Yes, provided your shower is fully enclosed and waterproofed. You will need to ensure the walls and ceiling are tiled and sealed, and that the door is vapor-tight to prevent moisture from escaping into the rest of the bathroom.
Do you provide technical support for installation?
Absolutely. Our team of product experts is available via phone and email to assist your contractor or plumber with technical specifications and troubleshooting during the installation process.
